@mguzzo7 On my lenses (nikon) there is a small tap at the back of the lens which will move in a small groove. Hard to explain, but when you move that forward(or back depending on,… never mind.. ) it will open the aperture. I think that was what he did.
On other lenses the aperture will stay open when detached from the camera body. I know that some older canon lenses does that. I don’t know if the Sigma does that as well.
I like the camera person’s lens better. When you first put your focus on the camera person, I could not distinguish what the person was holding in his hand. His camera just looked like a silhouette. @ 4:35
@ 46 seconds in, how does he have the aperture wide open while the lens is detached from the camera? Mine closes whenever it is detached from the camera.

@FristOneStoned It’s range is 85mm to 85mm, as it is a prime, a therefore has no zoom.
Tbh, if you’re looking to blow a grand on camera gear, you should at least be able to tell that.

@davis769 so what is the range of this sigma ? 8.5 to what ?? I’m tryna to find a lens that is f/1.4 and that have a range between 28 and up. Any suggestions ? am now tryning to pay more then $1000 btw, hope u can help me out, i dont know that much about photography but I am intrested
